Career Opportunities Rehabilitation Program Manager (RPM)
The Rehabilitation Program Manager (RPM) will be responsible for the management of therapy services for his/her facility. The RPM will be responsible for achieving a balance between exceptional rehabilitation services delivery and financial viability. The RPM will be responsible for appropriate staffing to meet the clinical needs of residents and outpatients, as well as to develop and sustain relationships with current and potential referral sources.
Duties to include but not limited too:
- Follow Pinnacle policies and procedures.
- Apply necessary rules, laws and standards of practice.
- Direct the process of planning, developing and implementing quality physical, occupational and speech therapy programs.
- Select and train clinical staff and assist with recruitment as requested.
- Develop rehabilitation programs.
- Manage department productivity in relation to workload to company standard of 70 percent.
- Coordinate staffing and workload scheduling.
- Provide timely performance evaluations per company policy.
- Attend and participate in facility and company meetings as requested.
- Develop community relationships with referral services and actively market facility programs.
- Ensure proper documentation of rehabilitation services provided as it relates to state and federal guidelines.
- Coordinate facility screening and treatments, and provide input on RUG levels.
- Provide therapy-related inservices for facility staff as needed.
- Implement a participatory style of management with regard to decision making.
- Manager the operational aspects of the department including but not limited to productivity, RUGs utilization, Part B utilization, LOS, denials and departmental costs.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of information to Pinnacle Healthcare central support office including monthly billing.
- Fulfill all aspects of patient care delivery as it relates to RPM s own discipline.
